Tube Lines Station Refurbishment
IPS have installed and commissioned the communications equipment for the station refurbishment project on the Tube Lines stations for Enhance (a joint venture between Telent and Amey). The work involved the installation of new PA, CCTV, Clocks, Visual Information Displays, Public Help Points and the associated control equipment.
The project started in 2005 and will be completed in 2011. Within this time scale IPS have successfully completed 57 stations. This project has been a great success with the main factor being the close working relationship between IPS and the Enhance team.
